It is shown that such effects may lead to changes of energy levels of atoms placed in a periodic dielectric medium of nanometer size.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Обсуждается влияние среды оптических наноматериалов на характер взаимодействия атомов с собственным полем излучения на примере фотонных кристаллов.
