According to SEM and XRD data, an additional heat treatment in air led only to an increase in the crystallinity of the sample. The element composition and the phase purity were confirmed by X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy and X-ray powder diffraction, respectively. Mossbauer spectroscopy on 57Fe nuclei revealed the presence of only Fe3+ ions in the sample, which can be considered as indirect evidence of the absence of tetravalent cerium impurity.</p>
Мессбауэровская спектроскопия на ядрах 57Fe выявила наличие в образце только ионов Fe3+, что можно рассматривать как косвенное свидетельство отсутствия примеси четырехвалентного церия.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>горение геля</kwd><kwd>ферриты</kwd><kwd>церий-иттриевый феррит-гранат</kwd><kwd>наночастицы</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>gel combustion</kwd><kwd>ferrites</kwd><kwd>cerium yttrium iron garnet</kwd><kwd>nanoparticles</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><funding-statement xml:lang="ru">This synthesis and study of the samples was supported by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (project No. 19-08-00643).
