The sun protection factor (SPF) and protection factor against UV-A radiation (UVAPF) values for double ceric phosphates with the smallest crystallite sizes exceeded 4 and 3.5, respectively, which is much higher than the values for samples consisting of larger particles. These results are superior to previously published values for similar ceric compounds, and thus show promise for their application in sunscreens.</p>
Полученные данные превосходят ранее опубликованные значения для аналогичных соединений церия и, таким образом, указывают на перспективность применения полученных соединений в солнцезащитных средствах.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>церий</kwd><kwd>ультразвуковое воздействие</kwd><kwd>микроволновая обработка</kwd><kwd>размер частиц</kwd><kwd>УФ-защита</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>cerium</kwd><kwd>ultrasonic exposure</kwd><kwd>microwave</kwd><kwd>particle size</kwd><kwd>UV shielding</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><funding-statement xml:lang="en">This work was supported by Russian Science Foundation (Grant no. 23-73-10088, https://rscf.ru/en/project/23-73-10088/) using the equipment of the JRC PMR IGIC RAS.</funding-statement></funding-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Gallagher R.P., Lee T.K.
