The synthesized C NPs were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. Dye adsorption and photo catalytic properties of C NPs were examined by studying the decolorization of dye Au–O at 5 minutes time interval using a UV-Visible spectrophotometer. The results show that C NPs acts as a better adsorbent even with shorter time and lower concentration than as photocatalysts.</p>
Результаты показывают, что НЧ C действуют как лучший адсорбент даже при более коротком времени и более низкой концентрации, чем фотокатализаторы.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>деструкция красителя</kwd><kwd>углеродные наночастицы</kwd><kwd>адсорбция</kwd><kwd>фотокаталитическая активность</kwd><kwd>деградация красителя Аурамин-О</kwd><kwd>рентгеноструктурный анализ</kwd><kwd>фотокатализаторы</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>Dye degradation</kwd><kwd>carbon nano particle</kwd><kwd>adsorption</kwd><kwd>photo catalytic activity</kwd><kwd>degradation of Auramine–O dye</kwd><kwd>X-ray diffraction</kwd><kwd>photo catalysts</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><funding-statement xml:lang="en">This work was supported by the 2019 TNSCST-S&amp;T Project Grant (Ref.No.TNSCST/STP/AR/2018-2019/9298 dt.04.11.2019) from TamilNadu State Council for Science and Technology, Chennai.
