The transformations of structures in the nanocomposite ZrO2 – amorphous Al2O3 in the process of heat treatment were investigated. It is shown that melting of non-autonomous phase is the key process leading to starting of active transformations in the structure of the composite.

Keywords: nanoparticles, nanocomposites, nonautonomous phase, structural transformations, ZrO2, Al2O3, hydrothermal synthesis.
