The photoluminescence properties of the porous Si films nanostructured by CdS particles (d = 3.0nm) have been investigated. It is shown that the deposition of CdS nanoparticles on the surface of porous Si leads to a shift of the photoluminescence spectrum of the nanoparticles, covered with superficially active agent, in short-wave area. It is established that a violation of the integrity of the shell of CdS nanoparticles from superficially active agent leads to the formation of at least two fractions of nanoparticles with different sizes. Well resolved bands of a photoluminescence with maximums of 480 and 530 nanometers. correspond to these fractions.

Keywords: nanoparticles, porous Si, photoluminescence.
