Ministry of Education and Science of Russia clarified situation with citations in Web of Science

Journal “Nanosystems: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics” was included in database Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) Web of Science Core Collection from 2016. Director of Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia clarified the situation concerning to calculation of citation of Russian scientists in Web of Science (WoS). In accordance with Decree of President of Russian Federation, citation of scientific works is calculated using analytical platform of WoS Core Collection, including the following databases:

Science Citation Index Expanded (SCI-EXPANDED);
Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI);
Arts & Humanities Citation Index (A&HCI);
Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI).
